Anglesey Real Estate

Anglesey is a popular Greenville community conveniently located on Lancaster Pike between Centerville Road and Route 141. The homes are well maintained and show pride of ownership. It is also the home of one of the few houses that I know of that has been moved. When Lancaster Pike (Route 48) was widened in 1990, the house nearest the road was condemned - but then purchased and moved to an empty lot. Even some furniture remained in the house during the move. It was rumored that a half full cup of coffee was left on the piano - and remained such all the way to the new location (though it had cooled off dramatically). The convenience of the location to the shopping of Greenville, Prices Corner and the new Capers and Lemons Restaurant (one of the areas most popular) makes Anglesey a perpetual Wilmington real estate favorite.
