Spring Valley, off Barley Mill Road, is mostly 1960 - 1970 era custom homes on two acre sites, with a handful of newer homes. The variety of homes and lots is amazing. One of the best views in Delaware can be had on Quarryside Drive sitting 200 feet above an old rock quarry (but watch out for the drop). I've always enjoyed the unique feel of the variety of homes in this community. It used to be a challenge to commute from here during inclement weather but about 10 years ago they replaced the bridge over the Red Clay Creek which solved all the problems.
